Combining poetry, instrumentals, and what could possibly be described as experimental country music, from the perspective of the Texas independent and experimental music community, Go Metric USA’s Basic Hundred Songs is a collection across spoken word and jangle music that is truly Texan, connecting folk traditions, adventurous sound, and the songwriting craft.

Originally aligned with the spirit of the Situationist International, the work similarly explores a dreamlike movement through the landscape of a remembered journey through the vast flatland, the complexity of the urban environment, and the wide canyons near the borderlands.
